1. Which listed clients are a part of the Audit and Assurance department at RASG Karachi?

RASG serves a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, ports and shipping, telecom, power generation & distribution, education, construction, services, brokerage, NBFCs, trusts, entertainment, and government entities. Several clients are listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

2. Is a rotation policy in place, and is it followed in line with ICAP training regulations?

Yes, RASG has a well-established rotation policy to ensure trainees gain exposure across departments such as internal audit, external audit, taxation, advisory, ERP, and accounting services, in compliance with ICAP guidelines.

3. How does the firm support trainees in managing both client work and exam preparation?

The firm grants adequate study leaves and discourages unnecessary late sittings to allow trainees sufficient time for daily studies and examination preparation.

4. What additional educational support is provided apart from the stipend?

RASG has introduced various such policies e.g. it reimburses 50% of the cost of study materials. A scholarship policy for the eligible trainees is being introduced, etc.

5. Are there secondment opportunities available for trainees?

RASG is in the process of establishing collaborations with international firms to provide global exposure through secondment opportunities.

6. Is the environment inclusive and conducive for female trainees?

Yes, RASG strongly encourages female trainees to apply and ensures a non-discriminatory and supportive work environment.

7. Is work-from-home allowed for trainees?

Work-from-home is governed as per ICAP bye-laws and implemented accordingly.

8. Does the firm offer financial assistance or loans to trainees?

Yes, RASG provides financial assistance such as laptop financing and trainee registration fee support, both recoverable in easy monthly installments.

9. Are laptops provided to trainees?

Yes, the firm has a policy in place for providing laptops and also offers financial support for their purchase.

10. Which audit software does RASG use?

RASG operates using the Audomatic Audit Software.

11. Are there any development programs specifically for trainees?

Yes, the firm conducts bimonthly learning and development session covering soft skills, IAS, IFRS, and ISAs for professional development of trainees.

12. What co-curricular activities does RASG organize?

13. Does the Tax department provide exposure to FBR terminals and tribunals?

Exposure to FBR, appeals, and tribunals is based on trainees’ competence, interest and development.
