Accounts Executive - Detail

We're Hiring: Accounts Executive Location: Karachi, Pakistan

We are looking for the Accounts Executive who will support the Accounts Department by performing general accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, assisting in tax compliance, and supporting payroll and financial reporting activities. The role requires accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Record daily financial transactions and prepare ledger entries.

  • • Maintain and update the general ledger with accuracy and timeliness.

  • • Prepare monthly and periodic bank reconciliations.

  • • Draft tax filings and maintain proper documentation for compliance.

  • • Support tax compliance requirements and ensure timely submissions.

  • • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.

  • • Support payroll processing and maintain related records.

  • • Update ledgers for receivables and payables, ensuring reconciliations of outstanding balances.

  • • Process invoices and maintain records for cash flow monitoring.

  • • Assist with documentation and respond to queries from auditors and tax authorities.

  • • Contribute to improvements in accounting systems, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • • CA/ACCA/ICMA part-qualified (preferred).

  • • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP/accounting software preferred.

  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • • Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and collaborate in a team.

  • • Good written and verbal communication skills.
