Audit Manager - Detail

We're Hiring: Audit Manager Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Role Purpose

The Audit Manager leads multiple audit engagements, ensures high quality delivery in line with professional standards, and manages client relationships. The role is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing audits while guiding teams, reviewing work, and contributing to the overall growth of the Audit and Assurance practice.

Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, supervise, and complete audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards
      • Review working papers, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
        • Manage engagement timelines, resources, and client expectations
          • Provide coaching and performance feedback to audit teams
            • Participate in risk assessments and ensure the effectiveness of audit procedures
              • Communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management and clients
                • Support business development, proposal preparation, and firm initiatives as required

              Required Qualifications and Experience

              • • CA Pakistan qualified

              • • Proven experience in external audit at a reputable firm

              • • Strong understanding of IFRS, ISA, and relevant regulatory requirements

              • • Experience in managing audit teams and handling multiple engagements

              Skills and Competencies

              • • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

              • • Effective leadership and team management capabilities

              • • Excellent communication and client handling skills

              • • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

              • • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

              Technical or Software Skills

              • • Proficiency in MS Office suite

              • • Experience with audit software such as CaseWare or ACL or equivalent

              • • Familiarity with ERP systems and data extraction tools

              Preferred Certifications

              • • Training certifications in audit tools or IFRS will be an advantage

              • • Any additional assurance, quality, or data analytics certifications will be preferred
